If your villa is booked on our chosen dates, are you able to recommend other villas at Windsor Palms?
Yes - If we can't place you in our home, we are happy to recommend other Windsor Palms Resort villa owners to help ensure your dream holiday becomes a reality. Just Contact us via E-mail and remember to include the dates you are looking to book.
Are towels and linens provided?
Yes - all linens and towels are provided, including towels for the pool area. There is also a washer and dryer.
What form of payment do you accept?
We accept personal checks and cashiers checks in US Dollars and British Pounds. We can also accept credit card payments or Paypal (there is an additional 3% charge for this service).
What time is check in/check out?
Villa stays are normally Saturday to Saturday. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. If different dates/times are important to you then please ask and we will do our best to accommodate this if possible.
How do I get the keys?
We have a secure electronic keypad on the front door of the villa, and we will email you the combination when the balance of your rental has been received.
Does the villa have a telephone?
Yes, and all calls are FREE for our guests. We believe that sharing your Florida experiences with everyone back home helps make your stay even more enjoyable.
Are there shops and restaurants nearby?
Although the resort is in a quiet residential area, Highway 192 is a 3 minute drive away. You will find everything that you need there - the choices are endless!
Will I need the pool heating?
This is a matter of personal choice but we would suggest it will be needed from October to the end of April. The pool heater is electric and works in relation to air temperature - so if you experience a cold Floridian day the pool temperature may not be as warm as you would like.
Is everything included in the rental price I have been quoted?
Your rental includes everything in the home except extras requested by you such as, pool heat, roll-aways, BBQ,s, etc. All of the Windsor Palms Resort facilities (except the shuttle transportation) are also included and you can use them as often as you wish. Taxes are included in our rates, so don't be deceived by lower advertised rates that say 'plus 13% Florida tax'. We have done the math and computed rates that don't leave you, 'the Guest', wondering how much the total payment is.
Where do I get tickets, what restaurant would you recommend, what it the weather like, can I have advice on which attractions I might like....?
Our property manager has years of experience in this area. If you have any questions please email us and we will be happy to get an answer if we can.
What if I need assistance during my stay?
We employ a professional management company who are on 24-hour call. The management company has a binder in the house to help answer many more of your questions about the house and nearby area.
What facilities are in the houses for children?
The villa is very family friendly and we provide DVDs, books, games, CD/iPod/radio player, a Playstation 3 Video Gaming console (you are welcome to bring your own games/movies), and plenty of cable TVs, so there should be something for everyone! We have also recently converted the garage into a games room, equiped with a ping-pong table, foosball table, and kids play area. The on-site Sundry shop also rents many movies & games. The Sundry shop also takes movie requests that play in the 58-person cinema in the Clubhouse. We have checked it out and the movies they play are quite current.
What is your smoking policy?
We ask that you please do not smoke in the house as a consideration to all our guests. If there are smokers in your party we would ask that they smoke only on the pool deck area.
